Driving can be a really dangerous activity to do in our daily lives, yet we always do it because so many things that we need to do requires a car or some sort of vehicle to get to that location. It prevents whiplash when we encounter a car accident, particularly rear impact crashes. Whiplash is caused by the head extending backward from the torso, and this happens in the initial stages of a rear impact crash, and then the head is thrown forward. The head rest needs to be as high as the head to prevent whiplash.
